Yes, what a pompous (and stolen) title! I did not luckily have to act as a breakwater I have the Giant's Causeway (dam of the Giant ") left. One rock formation on the north coast Northern Ireland, consisting of thousands more square columns. It is a natural formation made of cooled lava. An old Irish legend, it is the remnant of a land bridge to Scotland, which was set up by a giant whose name I can not even pronounce. And in fact, last weekend was as good weather that was to be seen from the cliffs of the coast of Scotland shadowy
as it may, I will not even be writing so much, but the pictures speak:
Hm , note the dark spots where the photographer is ** ** which I suppose from time to be covered by waves ...
I was with a pack of foreign language assistants of various nationalities on the road. So it was inevitable, as stupid tourists to run with their backpacks and cameras around. ** We were at the Giant's Causeway on Saturday and there were quite a few tourists there, yes, we! **, Sunday it will be even fuller. It's just one of the tourist destinations on the island and a World Heritage Site.
Here is the tourist-group from a other Touri has their picture taken:
Here I am on the cliffs overlooking the coast of the giants. Note my small eyes. Lack of sleep, at least three hours on buses and trains and the previous visit of the oldest well-** or one of the oldest? Who knows! ** whiskey distillery in the world (1608) in Bushmills, near the Giant's Causeway, have left their mark.
Where did I mention Bush Mills: This wall painting I found in a pub in This town: Conan the Barbarian drinking Tennent's! Well, probably this country boy will figure out those giant prehistoric times, which created the Causeway. How would my best friend from S4-201: THE GOODS OR REAL MEN, THEN! ;-)
** LiveJournal will not make the image vertically in, what the heck **:
So, here again at the end a view from above of the GC.
What happened otherwise has happened and I come with a teacher from now much better, which I thought at first that I am more ballast in their very stressful working day. But they gave me very positive feedback and sees me as a relief and I should not hesitate if I have a question, even if it is busy. This weekend I get to get to know a couple of assistants who work in Enniskillen and in Omagh visit our WG. Tomorrow morning we do then "Ulster fry", a typical Northern Irish breakfast: soda bread, mushrooms, tomatoes, ham, sausages, eggs fried in the pan .... Everything goes . I'm curious!
Oh, where I mention healthy food, I'll say to me since I'm here, like a mantra: "You have to finally play sports! You have to finally make sport ", but I hesitate even to make money at the sports center or go for training as one of the basketball ** When was the last time I played basketball? In school? ** . Where are they, my faithful companion Badminton, Cathi, Steffi, Lars, that I felt so at least to stay in shape?
Yes, there it is again, the nostalgia ...
Much love to the homeland and see you soon
Benny
PS. before yesterday was the Guinness Brewery her 250th Anniversary. Claire told me that would be spent in pubs all the Guinness in vain, I somehow could not believe it. In fact, we were punctual to 17:59 but then clock in 1759 AD ** ** in the McCann's around the corner and have a round of Guinness to get on the house. Wow
