Kates Playground Las Vegas

La Vita e Bella

So, we are a good two months now in the new apartment and I will never again since out. XD Tis ne 3 room apartment (but really very very big) with balcony and in the kitchen something like NEN small winter garden. Lovely! I even have a studio / office. Can finally put away my rubbish lying around and let off steam me correctly. So really given it is not yet finished. We've settled that I can make my studio as I can and will Sinan up for the living room of his wishes. and what comes out of it filled a large room filled with 1 sofa 3 black furniture, 2 black display cases and anything with: ps2, ps3, xbox 360, psp, game boys, games for all consoles, DVDs, large boxes and an amplifier, Turntables, plates, my CD collection and his Katanas. Otherwise, nothing. Did he then placed inside a small coffee table, (and secretly two orchid To make it not be so blank looks) Sometime curtains still are times .. n'bisschen is really clear, but Sinan like it. is indeed the case. For me, however, is a huge colorful chaos emerged. Not that I'm crazy about colors (on the contrary) but all my collected flyers from all over the world and all my photos from the trips mixed with all my (still sewn onto) are waiting substances give off a rather motley XD ; I'm lovin it. jaja so different we are.

Unfortunately, we have stress because of the old apartment. The landlords do stupid us constantly push any weaknesses in the shoes even though the are stated on the transfer protocol. Naturally think, "oh those awful adolescent with these colorful hair, this apartment will have added so" but that the apartment for over 30 years old is under renovation and was never to forget the well again ... = (

On Wednesday, my darling birthday, he insisted, however, that NO ONE is over and that I organize anything jaaa .. (He hates birthday) Well, I talked to the first but not to the second. I have to be Grossmütterli and Grossväterli and co invited to the cake. Did the whole apartment decorated with pirate utensils. Then we would be so gone at 18.00 clock in the pirate ship (jep a real pirate ship, with a bar and restaurant. Saulecker.) And then we would have getrofffen with Tobi and refined in the Birreria. Tobi the tittle-tattler has yet blurted promptly and Sinan called me to snort ... okay, all were again unloaded, packed in decorative trowel and a pissed-off because Vanilein nerft itself. Am own fault, but I just want to make him happy. Yeah I know I'm doing him no pleasure, but sooo Grummlig can not Sinan. (No one to congratulate me, wants to be alone, birthday is stupid .... Blah blah blah .. no matter, the use deko ne good for barbecue. So we went finally to Gossau to the Chinese. The operation there is odd. Total love and helpful, I could hug the same. The food was absolutely delicious, after persons had big belly, I could hardly keep aufem motorcycle.

way, I've fallen in love again. He is handsome, black-haired, sugar-sweet, rebellious, clever, curious, fussy, cheeky, loyal, silly and easy to cuddle. May I introduce my new love: Salem.

nee rubbish, that Iser

I really have to be careful that I do not eat it, as sweet as he is. By the way, his rattle. Have we bought him to the vet and he loves this thing. Most of all he plays with it when we are in bed, the rattle that is so beautiful and we can not sleep then XD

Joa otherwise going well so far. Have, as always, stress at school. The interim tests are given by (have both passed) But the final exams are just around the corner. In two weeks we go. Will nix = (Incidentally, I still sew the dress for Edith (her daughter married in early May and they want to have NEN dress from me. = D)

Ah yes, vampire ball was still alive. It was great! Have the dress but actually got done. (photos to follow) However, wars in the shed so hot that I've regretted's not easy which have attracted easier ... Manu was still there. (She is my fairy godmother as to my beautiful long hair.)

Oh crap, you do not look right. In any case, four colors in it (wine red, purple, violet and black) I love it!

So, go to work even further and later prepare the dough for fine Chnöpfli.

And where is the little stinker Salem? In the empty beer carton, his absolute favorite place. As he crawls inside and sleep times as a few hours. Oh I want to be a cat in my next life.

Part IX: Trip to Donegal's Coast & Derry 20.02.-21.02 or: Goin' South agaiiiiiiin

Da issa again, the Benny!
A week after the wonderful, but tiring trip to Cork gave us Audrey (a French assistant in Enniskillen offered), in their car to the Slieve League, the famous cliffs on the coast drive from Donegal (west of the island, rep. territory, not far from Northern Ireland). Morgan and Claire had friends from France here - Juliette and Aurelia. The German fatherland was represented by Denis and me. Yes, not only asshole No.1 Sarkozy and silence-mouse-Chancellor Merkel "get along well" (some English. Phrases are hard to get out of my head, even when I write and speak German), German-auchdie French Connection is running.

in Donegal and Derry I am the end of January was the last time. The hill (mountain?) From Donegal have impressed me already and the pictures from the Glenveagh National Park are still the hottest at all (see Part VII below)! And just like the end of January we were not disappointed by the Irish weather: cold, but sun

The first pictures we owe our Spontaineität: We are the small crappy roads to the coast long down and have a beautiful view discovered, have the car parked and are just a few hundred yards left. It has really paid off! Ladies and Gentlemen, I present you the beautiful coast of County Donegal:

These cliffs are quite small, but they were still beautiful. The rocky desert on the coast, which is torn from the sea and washed out, was also very impressive.

** Yes, we stand and sit there right on abyss ...**

** The Old Man and the Sea (Hey, I celebrate my 26th birthday here soon ... fuuuuuuuuuuuuck ...).**
* * Bottom: What I say: "On behalf of the Senate and people of Rome to annex I spin this island ... "Okay, now I'm starting to be completely ... Incidentally, I'm completely out of the ancient-out business. It's ages since I babble about ancient history, lecture, or have read something about it. Once I had the St. Michael's College, the history teacher, met with their "fifth graders" in the Schulbib and they should do research about gladiators. I was trying to force her an expert talk about gladiatorial combat as a community-spectacle of Roman values, but I rejected this idea first lack of time and 2 wanted I do not seem arrogant ...

** Below: Look at these colors. Fantastic! **

****
are very cool after this stop, we then went to the more tourist and not more empty Slieve Leagues. Here are the impressions (but since I have no pictures with tourists, but us, but there were many of those and families):

** People: Claire, Auré ; lien (French visit of Oslo [precisely, her brains, he studied there and the pictures of fjords, ice and fresh water, which they upload to Facebook, make animal Bock to Norway!], Audrey, Denis and a pale of any type of sleep-deprived , which is simply slipped on the photo .**

added ** To put it in the gentle words of "dude" Jeff Lebowski: What does that bekackte this photo? Well first you see the Slieve League, and three-quarters of the height, the rest is under the blanket of fog. The pseudo-Napoleon caricatures the real front, before the British were afraid. Ireland is known, was of course part of the kingdom in the 19th Century and there was fear that grips the Corsican conquering empire of the west side - also via Ireland - at .**

** Is this is the Spiral staircase to Mordor? ** ****

According to this natural Flash, we then moved briefly into the "capital" of County Donegal. Name: Donegal =) Looked more like a market town from, not even half the size of Omagh, about 2,400 people! That is also the 'disadvantage' the beautiful landscape: A lot of nature and very little city.
Anyway, we still have a nice pub found where I mean bad grades billiards again could prove, and where Aurélien probably the best Guinness ad photo was shot: Fireplace, Pub, Guinness, hearing rt together!
Lustig: Aurélien asked in this pub in Donegal to cappuccino or irgendsonem stuff that you can buy in any Irish pub ** because it is there but the coffee shops, but is looooogisch =)**. The lady said no more harshly than polite and offered tea and ** very bad! ** To black coffee. Aurelien Finally, asked whether he can pay by debit card - is of course not in Donegal Town, and why? The lady just said to him, dryly: "Not your day, huh?"

****
From Donegal is then only about . 1 hour by car back to the (London) Derry in Northern Ireland to the next stop. City of Derry, where we met Juliette Morgan and her friend in the hostel. We hiked to the perfectly preserved city walls, I already knew ** **.
are later We then went to the two most famous pubs Derry: Sandino (international revolutionaries hanging there on every wall, the audience is open, friendly and relaxed, very much left everything) and Peadar O'Donnell's (very, very Irish, with live music , see figure below). Both pubs are unfortunately always breaking
end fully, so I must honestly say that I prefer McCann's in Omagh **
Ah, little anecdote: I hope I will go O'Donnell's in the bathroom. A guy babbles at me, asks me where I come from. I proper "Germany", he comes from the land near Derry. He says: "We hate the English here." Yep, I know. He says added: "Derry is a shit hole" and I ask him if he would be better for his horse town and why he does not like Derry. "Too many tourists". Then his buddy comes to the urinal, the first guy says to him: "Hey Xy, this is Ben from Germany," and the new guy says - while he pees, "Hey Ben, how's it hangin '?" ; ... Guess what, i had to laugh involuntarily ...
The level of my new friends was noticeably high. I then slowly adopted friendly ....
Peadar O'Donnell's ** **

The next day, a Sunday by the way: Juliette, Aurelien, Audrey and Denis knew the Museum of Free Derry (yet) that I often times what you have raved (cf. Excursus III). They have also the guide on the history of the Bogside and can tell the Bloody Sunday. It was the same guide that I had: Republicans, anti-British to the very core and more positive about the 'terrorist' or set in his terminology 'war' of the IRA in the past.
Aurélien The image below has made. It shows a part of the memorial to IRA hunger strikers who starved to death in prison to put the British government under pressure. Watch the film "Hunger" on! I have no real opinion about the Hungerstreikern to the IRA fighter Bobby Sands. For the guide of the museum and the people of the Bogside there are certainly heroes and martyrs. In the background you see "Free Derry Corner".

** While the folks in this difficult to digest, but are merely whistling told first-hand history lesson, I've drunk coffee in a pub (yes, I knew this all before) .**

Finally a nice row of houses in the city of Derry, which anyone can interpret one of you clever Meiern for itself:

evening brought us back to Audrey then Omagh. End of story
So what I will also like to write in my blog and here schonmal as on a post-it notes, because I usually forget.
- The best phrases Insiderjokes and Irish slang
- Best of German students - it come about partly funny phrases when writing 11-year-and 12-student homework, to shoot!
- collection of the funniest Guinness commercials! Yes, the Guinness-worship is important ...
- more to me is not a degree .... Fuck, now my time is here for, it's so sad. What is present now: 17th
March is St. Patrick's Day, an Irish and tend to be imaginary for the Catholic community holiday, which is for many people a good excuse to get drunk to fight and its partners to cheat. I stay with my people here in Omagh, Dublin is full, everything is booked and it is very expensive in the Republic, esp in Dublin! So let us here at the parade and go to the pubs. I still have to buy equipment, you know: little green hat, etc. Istn carnival, I think ... At the same time I submit my application for Ref (or halt the day after St. Patrick =). On 30
March then my mother comes to visit me here for a few days. Can not wait to show her my little world here.

Peace out, I go kip. Greetings to Germany to you all!
B.

How Long Off Work With Chest Infection

Part VIII: Trip to Cork, 12.02.2010-15.02.2010 or: The beautiful South - Cork, Kinsale, Cobh

Hello friends,

After a month I finally find time to document my first major trip to the South in my blog. Perhaps initially anticipated another. The rumor that I'll only drink Guinness and live in constant state party is over exaggerated! In fact, I dedicated myself here on occasion of high culture (a term I really hate, because he is "posh", elitist and aristocratic, and that's all Yuck). Will say: I'm simply beautiful Music belongs: on Saturday, 6th February, I was at the Arts Centre (Theatre) in Omagh and the three Irish tenors have heard. Fantastic, no shit! Classics like "O sole mio" or songs of ABBA and Elvis, etc. Some songs were sung so beautifully that I was just in a trance. And finally, on 4 March, was at the Arts Centre, the Spring Concert of the Omagh Academy (my school in Omagh) and world-class no joke, it was! This school has it can be a lot of money, Gospel Singer-teachers and to engage percussion teacher from Belfast! But mainly it was the power the music teacher and the students who have exams in addition to all her crazy shit that the pull here, rehearsing for this concert. It was all there: an energetic Gospel choir, country, Irish folk, rock and roll, classical, musicals - the pobligen 8 pounds were a joke for this concert! The tenors have taken course 20 pounds, while the school concert was much better

Now to the actual topic.! Cork
Claire Morgane (French . Group), Denis and I (Group are dt) of 12 Feb to 15. February flew from the south. From Dublin to Cork. Cork is the second largest city of the Republic of Ireland (and the third largest of the island) and is at the southern tip. It is a modern university town with many shops astray, but that the total population of Münster and Bielefeld is to be compared. I should let them speak, given the myriad of images, the images themselves. short, it should be explained that we have seen, the two most remarkable places in Cork's environment: The gourmet's paradise and old fishing village of Kinsale and Cobh (ausgespr. Kouf * *), in which the "Harbour of Tears" was situated, from where the 19th Century, many Irishmen left their poor island to seek their fortune overseas.

City air: Cork's main shopping street with quirky modern lanterns.

from the pub - after checking into the (very cozy) Hostel, we have enjoyed the pubs with their live music. However, the price of a pint of beer in the Republic of inhuman: 4 € or more! The liver's thanks =)

Of the Alkis the Studis ** Sometimes the same thing, hm ??**: The University of Cork, that looks partly like Harry Potter's school. Malicious tongues say, Anglo-Saxon university to see all this: pseudo-old monasteries. Well, better than my beloved University of Bielefeld can see it out already, I have to admit grudgingly.

Now I will bore you with the first churches. But it is realistic. Church is important in Ireland. Here are the most Catholic, abortion opponents have a strong lobby and Jesus is everywhere - but that their very future on a Photo detail.
Church 1: Any church at night, on the way to the hostel.
Church 2: The same church during the day =)
Church 3: Roman temple, built by Emperor Augustus 5 AD, during his great expedition Hibernian ....
** ** NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT fell for,! The Romans were Ollen (as far as I know!) Never Hibernia, Ireland and the Catholic Church is simply shameless (!!!) the Roman Temples have been modeled. At Jupiter Optimus Maximus!!

We have been in Cork on a concert: A Tom Waits tribute band has a pretty good show delivered, although the concert was a bit too long (after about three "last song" because the next DJ did not come) - it was rather slow, melancholy Waits songs. Thanks to Constance (my colleague in Enniskillen) and modern technology, I have now by the way the entire life's work of TW on my hard drive =)

Kinsale impressed us with several things : It has a port, it has colorful houses (also suitable for giants, as you can see) ...

... fish & chips with freshly caught fish!! Yammmiiiii ....** And Kinsale is probably the only place in Ireland where to properly baked bread from the continent, as genuine, even to buy homemade pies. It is very touristy there, with cafes and so on, but we have to hike to the fort (see below) in a café, as we saw in Germany can not be found better to let go very well! ** ;

In Kinsale, the former bottleneck for trade between France and Ireland, is a huge fort (the "Charles Fort") from the 15th Century, which played in the conflicts between England and France and the struggle of Ireland for independence over the centuries, a not unimportant role ("Battle of Kinsale" 1601). The position has been strategically located at the entrance to a bay, the architecture is a star shape out of a picture book, like fortifications built in the early modern period. The second picture shows the view from the fort on Kinsale - we walked there and back. Mind you, you see only top weather on our photos and it was actually consistently sunny, BUT: still zero just over

!

Also discovered I have personally Kinsale in the gate of heaven! See for yourself .. But big disappointment: I have several times EXPECTING PREGNANT ** ger a word that come all too easily forgotten is! ** pressed the bell, but God was not home. Or he would not let me :-(

Since Kinsale is just a village, there are of course not as much traffic. Nevertheless, Denis tries to make the market for good German style EFFICIENT . Bravo, Denis!

children seem not to be as desirable as one would think a country of Catholics in Ireland ... ATTENTION CHILDREN!

Okay, enough geblödelt, We are again very seriously back to church, my friends interested in culture: Our day trip from Cork to Cobh ** Wow, by train! Normally, are there any in Ireland is not so ...** has also paid off as to Kinsale. Cobh is domniert by a huge, French-Gothic cathedral from 1915. Really huge. What the Catholic. Church has since invested again, not bad!

Oh yeah, this is the house of Mr. Jesus .... We trust in you, man! What actually comes from his heart? Can the times someone for me to find out theologically and comment here? "Sacred Heart" is the name I think (there are dozens of churches and colleges or Sacred Heart Primary School, etc.), determined symbolizes his love or something.

more than olle kitsch image of Mr. J has me interested but a statue for the victims of a ger-submarine attack from the 1 . WK and the people who helped the drowning man, was set up. In the attack of the U-ger boat on the civilian ship Lusitania on 7 May 1915 killed 1,200 people! This Incident also contributed decisively to the United States to win the war against Germany.

On our last day in Cork is the old prison Cork visited, in 1923, closed after the Irish Civil War. This was despite the annoying German audio guide very interesting. Four things in particular: 1) If you were poor, and have fought for your survival, you came in the 19th Century because of ridiculous crimes to prison 2) of the Great Famine are people deliberately went to prison in order not to starve on the street! 3) Children of 10 or 12 years were also imprisoned and systematically punished physically (eg 1x per week 10 lashes with a rod) and 4) The prison has no one made a better person.

So Cork was really great! The week after I'm once again been in Donegal - but this time on the coast. The photos of the cliffs and the landscape are a dream. I will update the blog tomorrow. Now I have to sleep, there is a clock at night and my dark circles will not tomorrow be too deep.
Adieu
