Do I Need To Boil Smoked Ham First

Part XI: Eikel-Invasion!

My mother made me Eva, 30 . March to 3 April here to visit Northern Ireland. And I must say: It was a complete success, in the sense that I could imagine my mother, my roommate (at least Claire and Gaetan, Noemi was in Spain), Eva was able to communicate in "Denglisch" very well with them and I was her "my Northern Ireland show a bit. A big hook was But, when I met her Tuesday at the Dublin airport, it was snowing!! That is not normal or just for Ireland this season! But we have made the best of it and the weather was even better. Here's a little history:

Tuesday : Dublin pubs visited Nice and the (free) National Museum! Note the modest fabulous weather!

Wednesday: Omagh: Getting to know my place and my flat, drinking tea cozy by the fireplace in the living room. In the evening we visited the spring concert of Claire's school at the Arts Centre (Theatre). Not only Eva, I was very impressed with the incredible talents that were presented there: Irish Dancing, Irish Folk Music was only part of a wide variety of music that was offered: children (it is ne Catholic Mä ; dchenschule) have sung rock-country and played classical music, performed musicals ...

Thursday: Excursion to (London) Derry; Visited City Hall, walk on the walled town and Craft Village, visit the Bogside ("Bloody Sunday") with the murals. In the evening we went to Omagh was in the Irish pub, where it was very crowded and where have we heard traditional Irish music - great atmosphere! Eva liked her first Irish Guinness very =)

*** Gaetan - always too fast for the camera :-) ***

Friday: Ulster American Folk Park and a visit to the Asian restaurant

. Saturday: up morning, Eva had a three-hour bus ride to Dublin on. Everything went

Part X: Funny and useless stuff, or: Und sonst...?

*** Urgent : Vanessa and Christian come visit me in late April (I celebrate my birthday on Fri, 30.4. after) the end of May (ie in the last week of my life as a foreign language assistant in Northern Ireland) is Ina! Yippie-ay-ay-yea-yippie-yo! ***

Hi friends,

after a long break this is the first of three entries that I would make clean all-day, if that does not include the photos as long would take :-(. St. Patrick's Day (March 17) was not sooo plump and before the visit of my mother and our road trip to Connemara in the Easter holidays there was nothing much newsworthy value. So fill I have the time of the end of February (on which Part IX negotiated) until Easter time with funny pictures and all sorts of nonsense. I'm already back in Germany in mid-June, from hence to be here probably be my last few entries. At least two things that I announced, I have not yet done: a record of Gaelic football and the historical account of the peace process. The latter is mega complicated, so I do without on it I think ... , - /

So, sit back and enjoy a few snapshots:

First New Year's Eve 2009/10. I was with Philip, Ina, Sabine, Vanessa and Chris celebrated in Münster.

Are Anti Obesity Tablets A Good Idea ?

Ok ... A short archive

As you can see I was in last year's extremely lazy when it comes to my updates. Well, it's a lot happening, and now here I could write a long apology for how little time I had ... well, I had enough to do, but really everyone in between but a little bit of time. Apart from that I do not know if it even exists yet someone who would read the whole thing ...
;-) Anyway, I am now a pharmacist. Since the end of January. I have now officially qualified me to let ankacken of pissed-off customers. shit now I am back: with a difference! Anyway, I've
so included at the insistence of my former boss at the hospital a second study. If I do that, I may call me "Master of Science. I can not get used because really it ... that sounds excessive and chief determining. As if one had ne more related to what the supernatural. Although I must say that "graduate pharmacist" does not sound better ... Then yes I've
degree nor the title of this journal changed. And for a reason. Because the data I've collected at the hospital, the paper is not worth it, to which I have copied them, my Prof has assigned me a new topic. I can now grow my own cancer! In culture flasks, of course. It feels as if you had 1 million children, with the difference that they do not complain when you do editing. And they are undemanding: Feed every two days, and deal with overcrowding in new bottles. And they grow ... like weeds. The most beautiful thing is: I can abuse them with drugs. Either they keep it out, or they perish. Darwin says hello! I will only say one thing and when they when they do the other. And then jump out of an academic title ...

I'm curious!
